It´s time for the Slab picture thread

Beautiful car! You should of used that picture yesterday for "Tailight Tuesday" :(

Thanks! I'll have to take a fresh picture this coming Tuesday. Just got back from work, and I'm reminded that driving at night is one of my favorite times to drive the thing. Nobody's looking at it, except for maybe a quick glance as they pass (not that it's some hemi 'cuda or something) but you're just driving along with that old dash light glow, reflection of the street lights occasionally over your hood. With how empty the freeways are now, makes you think of how it must have been back when his car wasn't so old you know. :)

Here are some beloved past rides. The red 68 vert was probably my favorite car. Not sure if the 61 wagon is considered a slab side or not.

These are the current c-slabs which keep me busy. Daily drivers during the summer. The 67 Monaco tail lights have to be my favorite.

LOL, yes, it looks a bit precarious up there but it is fastened down to the Gantry (4 ton), new 10 ton webbing was used...and seamless scaffolding, plus, its an empty shell., thought I had better explain because it does "appear" a bit reckless, thanks for the comment, I will be putting better pic up soon folks! Regards.

Come to think of it, I saw a '68 Newport convertible a couple times in DC last summer that had them ("poverty caps"), only it was off-white. When the wheels match the car and you have whitewalls, it DOES make a nice look, especially in a brighter color.

You mean like this...
