The orange lense is screwed into the fixture.
Use your thumb to turn it. Or gently use on the edge of the lence a flat head screwdriver. (68/69 bullets had slots in them btw)
Once unscrewed the bulb is sandwiched between the socket and lense.
it is an aircraft type of bulb GE330 or part number 330
Your style of fender mount signals are very expensive to replace so be carefull with them,LOL

The lens unscrews to allow access to the bulb. Normally there is a slot in the amber lens to allow you to unscrew it, not sure why yours does not have this.

Thank you sir! I thought they might be expensive. That's why I asked before I attempted anything.

Lea how do we change ours?

The socket slides into the assembly. Shown here with grille removed for clarity.
But most of the 50+ year old sockets are rusted together so removing the whole thing from the car may be necessary.
You have to be flexible like a chinese gymnast circus act to get to the inside the fender with the grille still attached--it can be done however without removing the grille--just need small hands and a 1/4 inch ratchet.
The driver side requires removing the washer jug,and passenger side may have to remove the horns to make room.
Yes,they are NOS..No you cannot have them--they are on the car,LOL!!!

66 Monaco and Polara use very similar fender top turn signals, with the same push-on style bulb holder. Gonna grease 'em up good when I install the NOS ones I have stashed away.

Even though the rest of my car has LED's, I left the original bulbs in mine.
Ever since I was a small kid I always loved the warm glow of the fender mount turn signals.

I also added a ground wire off the mounting stud. Had some grounding issues without it.

Me too! My Grandad had a ‘67 Polara with them and I thought they were so cool. When my Mom bought a new ‘74 Valiant, it had them too. The stuff we notice as kids that stay with us forever...
