Looks nice. Heater bypassed, that could be a PITA if it's a heater core or an easy fix if it's the heater valve. Disc brake car.

Hmm... Auction paddle in front seat... Wonder what that's about?

No power vents, not a slabbie, oh and there is no room left here. Nice car for a fuselage though...

FOR POSTERITY:

Very clean and very well maintained. Low mile 440 original car. Purchased in 1974 by my father who recently passed away. Car has always been garage kept. Road ready now. NO E-MAILS . CALL Mark

Not an auction paddle but a handout freebie from one of the major local cruises.

Car looks good. Interior looks great. But, looks like the seat rubber is toast: see the "crumbs" below the driver's seat? I have those all over my Newport and the rubber is bad!

LOL, that's what the parts car seats looked like after the mice got in. So, instead of a hose, the first pic shows the guy rolling up his jumper cables. Gotta love Craigslist.

69 300s were standard with triple stipes down the side of the car, and this one doesn't have them. They could have been deleted when ordered or more likely the car was repainted at some point in the past. With Detroit cars, I would have it inspected to see if anything lies below it such as rust that hasn't been well repaired.

It has an aftermarket radiator that seems to be the usual junk with low fin density, so even though it is a Detroit area car, it is no surprise it has an electric assist fan to keep it cool on hot days with the a/c on in traffic. But since the condenser is MIA, don't plan on the a/c working anytime soon either.

The car seems to be a nice looking turd possibly, so be careful, especially at that price.

Yes to every comment thus far.

I don't know why people never repaint the stripes, they really help the looks. Well, yes I do... because it's a detail, and people don't bother with those.

All the Fuselage Chryslers that were imported to Finland back in the day - about 30 cars a year) were of the ”stripe delete” type. The first one with stripes that I ever saw was in summer of 1971: it was a green ’70 NYer 4dHT, with a white roof and white double stripes. Somebody from the US had brought their car with them for the vacation. It looked odd to me: both the color combo, and the stripes. I was nine years old at the time.

I still think so: the stripes are unnecessary. This 300 looks swell without them.

You can see paint overspray on the front hood spring.

The orange peel in the picture below also strongly suggests a repaint. Note that the center caps are not correct, and that the driver's bottom seat hinge cover is missing. This said, the rear bench looks in good shape (the vinyl is hardly discolored) and the chrome is shiny. Plus, I like the color combo -- it is a sharp one IMO.

That's the norm, I was waiting for someone to mention it LOL. On my 2 1968 PK21's both driver sides were either missing or broken so I pitched them, would never find any good ones in the bone yard, they sud'da made it out of cast iron. I take it as it was a target to be kicked every time a passenger got in the rear seat. Even on my 68 Fury Fastop the aluminum lower dress up trim piece on the driver side was gone when I got the car, never had a inkling to replace it.

Bob Baker has new reproduction hinge covers. ABC Moparts

Without the stripes the accent they bring is lost. Replacing the seat buns is very effective in improving ride quality. The ripples
In the seats would be eliminated too. The same goes for the missing hinge cover. Incorrect air cleaner, but that's a small detail. Restoring the heater I agree can be costly, but not a deal killer. Appears to be a good weekend driver once repaired. Value 14000.00 to 16000.00.
