Made my day. That was my view in the mid 90’s at PIR. At lunch the owners would give rides, everyone wanted to mooch a ride in a cobra or GT40. I was lucky enough to hop in the D type. This was back when Ferrari testarossas and gtos would still run at the old car races. My wife turned down a ride in a GT40 to ride in a Morgan 3 wheeler. Couldn’t get the smile off her face for days.
