Kilometers 20,000 or 20000 original miles

But still looks to be a pretty nice unmolested car.

Next time do a better job at cleaning the engine bay (nooks & crannies)

That is the kind of New Yorker which used to be the ONLY kind in Finland back in the day: a black 4d sedan, no AC, crank windows. Back then I thought they were boring.
Now I think it looks kind of neat. Clean looking car.

I believe the mileage (20K mls) to be correct. Look at the door pulls: they have hardly ever been used. Only the right hand side of the back seat shows some wear. The company director used to sit there?

it says canadian picture cars on the building. maybe it's a movie star.

Are you saying that there were a number of car's like this imported to Finland in 1970?

He wanted 12k April 2020. Never did respond to my inquiry. Not far from me so would've been worth a look. This one was advertised for under 5k which I picked up near Ottawa and took to Cape Breton a few yrs ago. Surprised to see the pics in this recent Hemmings article.

A Bretoner! Pleased to meet you! My forefathers settled there after having their land stolen from them in Scotland. They were lucky, half didn't survive the journey.

On a lighter note, beautiful car! The contrast of the black and white is spectacular! And unmatched in classiness! There is a '72 or '73 Imperial on this site in the same combo, another member referred to it as a "tuxedo car", which I found very fitting.

Yes most scots were given 100 acres to make the move. My ancestors as well.

No A/C, black interior, crank windows is gonna make for a tough sale now that the hot weather is here. Nice shape.
