Seller's Description
1973 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 4 door hardtop, 440 V8, TorqueFlite auto rebuilt engine & trans, 2017 96,xxx miles overall No rust, Arizona car

It has, a couple of time. The first time I saw CS43T3C212236 on FCBO was in Jan. 2019. I saw it again in Feb. 2020 and posted about it at the time.

I agree that the color of this NYB is striking -- JF1 Mint Green, with a green brocade interior. More info on the car's history can be found in this older CarDomain.com article. Here is a CD photo showing the car in day light back in 2006 (my guess) or 2013 (article date). The car had 81k miles at the time; as per the ad, it now has 96k miles.

What is new in the latest ad is the fender tag, which I had not seen before, and information on the fact that the engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2017. Thank you therefore for the link, @Pete Kaczmarski! From the ad, we learn that this "1973 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 4 door hardtop" has "no rust, Arizona car."

The AZ claim seems consistent with the fact that all the cars in the CD article (other than the NYB) have dark-tint windows. The "no rust" claim seems consistent with the fact that the car was born with a V7W white stripe, which one can still see in photos from both the CD and the latest ad (suggesting no repaint).

As the pictures in the ad and the earlier threads show, the brocade is fraying in multiple places (front and rear), and I suspect that the foam needs replacing too. This said, assuming the engine and trans work were done right, the car looks like it could be enjoyable as is and seats redone later. I hope she finds a good home!

You're out of control!

Weird, I didn´t get a notification that I´ve been tagged, just came across it browsing through the forum.
Nice car, I really like JF1. It´s a fancy color that fits right into the 70s. Even German companies used similar colors
back then. I think Porsche and Opel had similar colors in their portfolio. Anyways this one has 2 many doors :D

The ad is 23 weeks old, the interest in the NYB seems low. I really like the colour and the 73 styling, if it had leather seats I would consider it. It has some dents but would make a good daily driver.

It may have two too many doors for some but no “B” pillar makes it desirable. I love the look of a 4 door hardtop. Slab side, fuselage, or formal, they all look great.

That car has been for sale for 10 years. It did have a flame thrower exhaust years ago.

Here are a couple of videos posted by the owner:

(i) when he first put it up for sale back in 2010: (with an update to say he'd sold it in 2015 then bought it back in 2018)

(ii) in 2014:

(ii) in 2016, right after selling it:

I guess he's decided to let her go for good?
