Just picked this one up this morning. Was listed on Craigslist for parts last night with no registration papers and taking offers, I was the first person to make an offer and he accepted. It's a T code car that is complete under hood including a mint washer bottle. It is missing the console, rear seat, door panels, Radio, and Power window switches. Has had a repaint or two on it over the years. Floors are okay but the trunk and rear frame rails are rotten. I'm going to try and get registration papers for it and go from there.

Great find! Are you planning to save it?

If I can get papers for the car without too much trouble I will try and save the car. It would need a trunk and both rear frame rails for sure. Haven't really looked at the rest up it too closely, waiting to get it up on a lift.

There is a way to obtain a title on the car. I once did it on a 69 Cougar. I can’t remember what the process is called, but it involved sending certified mail to past known owners. I did it in Kalifornia many moons ago.

Nice find! Too bad it was left like that for so long, that tail end is gross! I hope you can save it, looks like alot of work. I'm working on a '70 Newport convertible that needs a few things, if you decide it's too much work, let me know.

Hope you can save it but if not, there are some parts I would buy.

That is a great color on convertibles. Looks classy but doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and have everyone around you gawking at you going down the road.

Hosed the car down to get a better look at it. Not bad in some areas but is rusty as well. Going to see if I can get papers and go from there. Was a good looking car back in the day.

NICE! I have this 70 300 coupe that has good rear frame rails. Trunk floor not so good. Maybe for patches. I will be cutting this 70 up soon and had not planned on saving frame rails.
There's yours if decide to save the vert. I'm in NorCal and can MAYBE get them as far as Seattle WA. If you could pick them up there ?

Little bit of an update on the car. The people I bought the car from sent me some photos of the missing interior pieces they found in the barn. Bought it all for $300, so the car is pretty much all complete now.
Still working on getting a title for it, but I assume with the Current pandemic that will take a bit longer than usual.

Great news, well done to the previous owners, many would have tossed them without a second thought.

I spent some time going over this car again today and going through the interior parts. Finally found a trunk ket to fit the lock, the floor is shot and has sheetmetal spot welded in place, it has rot in the section over the rear axle and passenger frame rail is rotten. Both rear quarters are made up mostly of bondo, same goes for the dutchman panel.
The people I bought it from couldn't figure out how to open the hood, so they tried to use a farm tractor to pry it open. They damaged the hood, the tops of both fenders, grille, front bumper and core support on it.
The Console is broken and missing the front padded section from it. The door panels are bent and cardboard broken on all of them. No power window switches, no radio, no door pulls, etc. The only good piece is the rear seat and the boot with a good cleaning.
I'm still seeing where I get with trying to get a title, but as of right now its looking like a really great parts donor for my car. The best part of the car as of right now is the washer bottle, its perfect.
