It was possible to order a rocker molding on a spear equipped (non 500) car. In that case it was just a rocker molding, and did not contain wheel well moldings. It is on page 2 of the option sheet. It might show up on the fender tag as j4, but I am not 100% sure because a few of the option codes have not been mapped. It is on the second page of the option sheet under 544. Note the part on the end of that says Polara 318, Polara (the two models it was available to be ordered on). This means the rocker sill molding could
not be ordered with the Polara 500 package, simply because the Polara 500 came with its own rocker molding that was integral with wheel well moldings. Nor could it be ordered with a Monaco.
Pictured are the option list sheets and my 383 Polara Sedan. It has the spear, rocker molding, and no wheel well molding. Option codes on the fender tag are j4 (body sill narrow), m3, and w8. Not sure what m3 and w8 are because they did not show up in the decode. Since the car is also equipped with 543 Moldings door upper frame, I would suppose one of those is the upper door moldings.
