1969 Chrysler Imperial 2 DR. Coupe For Sale | AutaBuy.com
Very unusual '69 Crown 2 Door in Q4 Aquamarine/V1W White Boar Grain Vinyl Top/M3Q Light Turquoise interior. 1 of only 244. Lowest production number of any '69 Imperial. I have never seen one anywhere near this nice before. Other than the 1970 rear bumper, looks to be all original.

I seriously considered buying YL23K9C247774 last year. The seller was honest and answered all my questions. I posted detailed comments here. The phone number listed in the ad is different than the one I was given, so the seller may be different.

It's a gorgeous car and I hope it finds the right owner. That won't be me.

This is a nice looking car and if it spent its time in CO, it is probably rust free in a sought after color combination. To my eye, and this could be the lighting, the paint looks to have a lot orange peel and there appears to be blue over spray on the passenger side fender well. Appears to have a lot of Armor all on the dash and tires. Dash has a weird mottling on the edges along the top. Pictures of the trunk, engine compartment and underside are lacking, interior fabric looks to be of recent install unless this is a very low mileage unit. No mileage for the vehicle listed and there is no information as to the mechanical condition and if anything has been done to the car to make it roadworthy. Lots of unknowns here. If the car is a good runner with low mileage, it is probably worth something close to $10k although the quality of the paint work is possibly suspect and a more detailed inspection and a report as to the mileage and mechanical condition would be needed to justify that price.

it is probably rust free

Unfortunately, I fear not. See my review of the car (linked to above). Anyone seriously interested, I am happy to share my remote-inspection notes (had a 30' video call with the owner, on top of all the pics he sent to me -- that's how interested I was). Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the looks of this car -- but she needs the right type of caretaker.

Thanks for posting the additional information. Rust creeping out of a repaint is usually a deal killer for me as is the auto-temp air. This car would be a great fair weather driver for somebody, but not a $10k.

Seems to be in that awkward condition. Nice looking car but fixing its issues will potentially double the price. Unfortunately, rust under vinyl can't be ignored.
I'm glad it's not black. The temptation may be too much. As it stands a two door 69 imp is at the top of the C body world to me.

This seems to be the best mopar deal on that site though.
The rough as all hell 69 A12 Bee is 60k.
I really thought I would have one. When I was 19.
No way. I don't like cars that much.

If someone was truly interested, I'd be willing to drive down to Denver to check it out and get better pictures. All I ask would be to pay my gas to get down there. I'm 2.5-3 hours away. Have no other reason to go down there or I'd offer for free. But if you really want the car and want eyes on it, I'd oblige.
Awesome car by the way!

I seriously doubt that the asking price is anywhere near the 10.4K that the previous seller wanted. Looking at the ridiculous prices that they are asking for most of their inventory, and the fact that they won't even list a price for the Imperial, I bet it's in the 20 to 25K range, maybe even 30K.

This car has been tuned over at least twice or never sold to begin with a couple years ago....something doesn't add up here! Hate to rain on the parade here but you' have to see this in person...IMO. $8500-$9500.

This guy has many mopars including some really sweet A-bodies but quite pricey. Owner is a very nice guy, he bought a car off ebay from me some years back.

The Q4, aquamarine color is fantastic and looks great on the imperial body.

From the other post about the seller has many more mopars. Forget the a-bodies, can just see the nose of an orange superbird parked to the right and behind the imperials left rear quarter.

I talked to the seller from Denver when he had it for sale a couple years back. Very nice man, and gave an honest description of the car. I passed on it, but thought it was a good car for the right buyer.
