I was scraping and scrubbing and doing my thing to clean out the floor but I’m second guessing myself on a certain part. Are these areas also glue for the carpet or are they like holding the floor together? I kinda already started going at it...

Leave it be if it's well and truly stuck down. If it's easy to remove then make a note of where it was and clean it up, and replace with new seam sealer.

Thanks for the help. I already ignorantly cut threw a bunch of it and don't want to take my chances leaving it. I'll get it all out and put new sealer in.

I recently did the same thing...most of mine looked great but in reality it wasnt. it broke free easily. I ended up removing most of it, left what was buried in the seam but replaced everything else.

Yeah I’m leaning that direction, it’s decently stuck on but I scraped through a load of it

Get a new caulking gun tube at the local paint/body shop/auto supply store. Be sure to put it back, well. Repaint as normal. Were y'all trying to "make it purdier than stock"?

Don't forget to look at the similar thing on the underside of things, too. But if it's under some undercoating, hit it with some quality undercoat instead.

@CBODY67 's advice is good. Adding to that - just like paint, the new seam sealer needs to have a clean and grease free surface to adhere to. Clean the area very well before you put the new sealer on.
