I Think I Just Purchased This

ive been looking at it on ebay for a while too.
not meaning to be an ******* but i really hope you didnt pay the $31k asking.
the plastic back window, vinyl seats, top boot snaps on the rear trim, and white overspray in the interior bothered me at that price.

I love an impulse buy.

1968 Imperial Crown Convertible

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1968 Chrysler Imperial Crown Convertible for sale in our Detroit Showroom. This beauty has 52,742 miles on the odometer and is ready for its new owner to love and enjoy! Under the hood sits the original numbers matching 440 CID V8 engine, backed by the 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission, and the stock rear end and gears. Painted in a gorgeous Red paint and paired with a bright White vinyl interior, this Imperial has a great color combo. This Imperial for sale has been stored indoors and is very solid. The tires are newer and help put the 350 horsepower to the ground! The big 440 breathes through dual exhaust. The 1968 Imperial had little change from the previous year. The grill changed to a brightly chromed one with thin horizontal bars, split in the middle by vertical chrome and a round Imperial Eagle badge. At the rear, the horizontal bars over the taillights were gone. All 1968s came with a Federally mandated energy absorbing steering column. The base level of trim was cancelled after only one year and the convertible and four-door sedan became part of the Crown level of trim. This was also the last year for the Imperial convertible. A total of 15,367 Imperials were sold in 1968 making this coupe pretty rare! Options include AM/FM radio, hub caps, power convertible top, power brakes, power steering, power seats, seat belts, vinyl interior, white walls, and radial tires. Located in our Detroit Showroom, this 68 Imperial for sale can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 313-982-3100 for additional information. The brushed stainless flat trim on the doors and dash must have been someone's upgrade. Looks great.

I thought It would be an improvement over the original trim but it isn’t. Looks like they just brushed the bronze anodizing off?

that does suck trying to keep it looking like bronze but worth it only year it was done

Congratulations! I saw this advertised a few months back and was drooling. The last year of Imperial convertibles! But wife would have killed me if I bought another car!
