I saw a 70 in Canada recently.....a burgundy one. I think they were asking 10K.

1969/70 Chrysler 300 convertible.....
Probably the #1 C-body in demand.
You'll be competing with Europe.
You just can't say I want a68/69 300 'vert and be shown where they are.
Could be tomorrow, or years before you find a car that is usually snatched up yesterday.
Best of luck.

#1 demand in europe aren't convertibles. Only exception: scandinavia.
Germans and other european mainland countries prefer a metal roof instead.
#1 demand: 69-71 Chrysler 300 2dr HTs

But project cars are usually not preferred only nice drivers and better.
So your competition from europe won't be too big.

Then why are so many convertibles over there?

1969 or 1970. Looking for a car that's not expensive. Project, or long term storage car OK.
I'm in Florida, will travel for right car.

What’s your budget and timeline? Doing the work yourself or plan on hiring a shop? “Not expensive” could cost you only $2500 to start, but years of rebuilding, or thousands in restoration costs. I’m 10 years and $7k into mine and haven’t had my first drive yet. I would suggest spending more on a nice driver, or a fix as you go.

please read it again Dave.

#1 demand in europe are NOT Convertibles except in scandinavia.

This does not mean there is NO demand. Just that 2dr HTs are more popular.
We have a lot of CVs overhere but 2dr HTs are preferred more and often get higher sales prices than their open counterpart. At least when you talk Fuselage Chrysler 300s or Sport Furys. I know the numbers overhere, trust me.
