Not mine. For sale in Parker, CO. CE27G9C282660 is being advertised on FB -- very few pictures of the car are provided. Here they are.

$500 to REBUILD the master cylinder? buck and a quarter to r+r a transmission mount? i'm not getting paid enough. 2 lengths of straight pipe so custom exhaust but 2" pipe and 2.5" clamps. would have been nice if they could have included pictures of the system. thanks for posting.

$500 was probably to bend and install the exhaust tubing, that is not that far out of line.
$125 to install transmission MOUND! Please, mound my transmission.
$500 to rebuild master and flush system, highway robbery.
$125 redirect one plug wire? Surely you jest.

That shop should call themselves "economy auto".

Note the invoice is not signed, nor is it marked paid. Might be a dummy or an estimate.

Wonder if the seller got a similar deal on the custom paint job.

Dave

Thanks for posting a PRICE...

The car looks decent bu I'm always suspect of a car that has been painted a dark color on the bottom half. It certainly looks like they're cover up a lot of body filler.

8,000.00 and 2 pictures of the car! WTF? Are they using film so they do not want to spend any $ on pictures?

It's like you are doing some online dating. The person pictured has posted 2 fotos. One is the back of the head shot and the other is a pair of shoes.
Plus you get a copy of the last doctor visit showing the results of the last check-up.

I'm selling my 1969 Chrysler Newport convertible. It has a 383 30/1000 over with a 4 barrel. Brand new exhaust and starter and brake system just went through. Here's receipt Thanks Lee and Carol

@marty mopar, I got a laugh out of your online dating analogy. Man, what one learns on this forum!

This said, from the ad, the impression I get is that the seller is someone older who likes his Newport and has taken good care of it, but does not really know much about technology -- whether how the car works or how online ads work. So what? If anyone likes this car, just ask for more...

I was quoted 500$CAD to resleeve the original master cylinder on a similar car years ago. Since then, I have always purchased new one's, keeping the original. Sounds like they just threw in a new seal kit. At least they were nice enough to remove and replace the brake fluid.

I think the lighter colour was added, not sure though.
