My latest junk yard visit

That’s enough for now. If you guys like these I’ll post more later. If you don’t want to see this crap on a C body site then fine I’ll post elsewhere
Please keep the photos coming. I enjoy a good junk yard tour. Some stuff makes me sad, some stuff makes me smile, some stuff I wish I had! Thanks for posting!!

Sad and cool at the same time.

Mindshark, I think you are spot on. My Dad's uncle had an old time gas station/general store across the road from our place. He was a hoarder and held on to lots of brand new really old stuff. Pickers would've gone nuts there. When he closed it, he just closed it, and it remained nearly untouched for decades. Also had several very old cars in good original condition, including a Ford Model T. When he died his son moved in to his place and kept it all pretty much the same. He died just recently and shortly after he did, his wife had a big auction and sold all they could. Then the bon fires started....and are still going on with some regularly a year later...

Thanks for sharing. Even in that state, those cars look awesome. The '65 Coronet...

I don't get why you'd get beat up over the Rambler pics. Nothing you can do or say about where, why or how.....

Like the other opened minded folks on this post I think these photos you took are a fabulous walk down memory lane. Thank you C Body Bob!

I'll 2nd that "ATTA BOY" BOB. I've only been in Wilmington for 5 yearz but I had no idea their waz a Bone Yard like that within striking distance of me? I know of a similar yard like that in Centeral Michigan but that guy waz selling partz(part time) when we moved south in '14. Anyway, A BIG THUMBS UP AND POST 'UM UP ANY TIME. A very nestalgic trip, Jer

Keep em coming please, And keep an eye out for a 67 Fury wagon Tailgate for me.

55 ? Packard. Looked to be restorable. For what ever reason I run across a few of these 55’s in this area. They must have had a real good salesman working that year.
It's a '53 or a '54.
Can't tell which one.

Man that chaps my ***. I know it's the dude's right to do what he wants, but just letting those things sit there when so many of us would be willing to buy/restore them. Ugh...frustrating. Like rescue dogs, give those puppies a new home! Someone who'll take care of them!
