Tires size

Hi all! I have a 1973 Fury III hardtop with 275/60/15 BfGoodrich TA rear tires and 225/70/15 Winston tires on front. I found 2 TA 225/60/15 used as I'd like to have TA all around. Will 225/60/15 fit in front of my car? Thanks! French is my language so sorry if my english is poor..lol!

Mais oui, il 225/60-15 peut tenir, mais la pneu est si basse qu'elle semble trop petite. Le pneu d'origine (H78-15) avait une hauteur de 28.3”, pouces ou 719mm. 225/60-15 est seulement 650mm de haut.

They will fit, however my experience says the 225 60 up front looks wrong because of the low profile.

Too small for the front. I do not recommend them.

Trop petit pour le devant. Je ne les recommande pas.
Comme mentionné, ils n'auront pas l'air bien sur la voiture. Trop d'écart entre le pneu et l'aile.
Il y a un risque de toucher l'extrémité avant.

I use 245 60/15s on my Newport. They fit fine.

Thanks for the replies!! I will keep the Winstons for a while. The only thing is that it is mounted on the black side. To have tires on the lettered side I would prefer to have 4 tires the same brand.

I don't know about Canada, but in the US, at least here in California, Winston went out of business close to, if not over, 20 years ago. If so, those tires are OLD. I would replace them.

Don't worry for my security! The tires are Winston winner GT and I think it's still available. It was bought new in 2017 and only have 6000 miles on it.
