Me and my 12 year old built this imperial for the demo derby. Here are before and after pictures. Hope you guys aren't to mad at us.

Yeah it's a game called wreckfest for Xbox one. I figured I would post that on here and have a little fun with you guys .
Umm, I must admit that I totally destroyed (for real) the following back in the 80’s and one in 1997.

1957 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door, 413 - got it for free from our postman

1965 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door hardtop, 440 got it for $75.00

1965 Dodge Polara 4 door sedan, 440 from the 65 New Yorker, $30

1969 Olds 98, 455 turbo 400, $40

and in 1997, a 1967 Ford Thunderbird 4 door landau, 390 - $200. This car must have had 2 miles of vacuum hose in it to operate the power door locks and heating and cooling system.

The Mopars and tbird were all extremely rusted. The Olds only had 50k on the clock, but had an electrical fire (my brother scooped out the interior with a flat bladed shovel)

I still have the AFB from the 57 New Yorker and the taillight panel and hubcaps from the tbird.

I also sold the 390 and C-6 for $150 as it still ran great- I was eliminated after a 73 Impala (driver cheated and welded the frame to the body throughout) hit me so hard that he severed the fuel pump inlet hose and knocked 3 spark plug wires off.

Guilty as charged. My # for all of them was the square root of negative 1.

the full frame imperials were so indestructable that many demo's banned them
The 65 Polara I used was destroyed by me ramming a 65 Imperial’s nose. It had stalled and I hit it with the rear end of the Polara, probably doing about 20 mph in reverse. The entire rear end of the Polara folded at the rear wheels, causing the rear bumper to be higher than the roof. I pulled away and the Imperial restarted and continued. I couldn’t believe it, it was as if I had hit a Tiger tank. The Polara ran for a while, but due to the rear end bending, the rear u-joint failed and I was done.

Go on U tube and put in demo derbies, In Minnesota they have Imperial only demo derbies, It enough to make you cry!!
