66 Monaco Seat Cover

I tried that with them in person at a show, offered to give them a complete set of covers, front and rear, and offered to pay for the cost involved. The guy I was talking to said "no", and turned his back on me, literally. I had to walk around th corner of their booth to ask for a reason, and he said there will never be enough demand for the covers. That was it, they didn't care. And they still don't.

Sorry to hear of your negative experience with them. Mine was very positive. It probably helped alot that the product was in their catalogue. I was talking to someone there about covers that aren't in the catalogue, and they said they could do them correctly and there would be an extra cost if they couldn't find original patterns. Given twosticks experience, it sounds as if it definitely matters who you are talking to.

Finally got a place to say they’ll take a look at it if I bring it down. Hoping for the best

Just got back, that place was great! Told me he wouldn’t need more than 14 days. For any Arizonans that may read this, the place is called Covers Plus.

Gonna look them up. Good work Dylan! This would be Covers Plus in Chandler, right?

I've looked into them a little. Thanks be to God, for now, a pair of saddle blankets do good service in protecting my front seat, while a "Sally blanket" (FEMA) does well for the rear. The old velour upholstery is still largely intact, so my plight isn't such as yours.

Yeah unfortunately my front bench was torn beyond repair, here’s some pics. Luckily the only fault with the rear bench is some cracking at the top from that AZ sun.

Tell you what to do with this situation. 1.) Buy about 3 rolls of Gorilla Tape, or some NASHUA duct tape. 2.) Get some foam rubber or such. You can cut this stuffin to the missing bits of your foam padding. 3.) Use the duct tape to close those ripped seams and other tears, after you've filled in the missing padding. 4.) Buy a couple good saddle blankets at a feed store or some other supplier of actual working saddlewear. Maybe Tractor Supply might be worth a squirt.. 5.) Throw these over those taped up seats.

For about $30 you will have made your seats serviceable! Not too bad for the $ eh?

Ask an impoverished junky for cost-effective methods. I live on single multiple kilo-bucks annual income and rear children, keep us all fed and sheltered, AND drive a 66 Newport! Mind you, God helps us in this life, but we help ourselves when we can too.....
