1966 Plymouth Sport Fury - cars & trucks - by owner

1966 Plymouth Sport Fury, 2 door with bucket seats and console shift, completely original and owned by the same family for 54 years. Rare 318 cid Poly Wide Block engine. Engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2000, but it has sat in a carport since 2001 and hasn't been started since. Original hubcaps and fender skirts are sitting in the trunk. Numbers matching car. If the ad is up it's still available.

It has potential but definitely needs work. The rear quarters and front fenders are rusty and there is no indication or pic of the floor boards or trunk floor. Also he claims the engine and tranny were rebuilt but the engine looks pretty dirty for a rebuilt. I would also question why is there plastic underneath and why are there rocks behind the wheels. You would also need to do quite a lot of interior work.
Lastly I don’t consider the poly 318 as being rare.
