He now has to move it and has dropped to $1000 if anyone wants this car. Needs to be gone by the weekend.

Here is the copy from my previous post.

"This is not my car, and I am not making any money for selling it, but I have been helping this fellow clear out his lot of 60s and 70s Mopars. Sold a 73 Satellite, a 65 New Yorker, a couple 66 300s (one 4 and one 2 door), a 62 Dodge 880, a 69 Dart 4 door and a few other random cars too. My payment was the 76 New Yorker Brougham, which I will post about in another thread.

Anyways, this Newport is awesome, and mostly complete, but no buyer yet. It obviously needs a new top and it's definitely got rust in the floor pans, but I would hate for it to not find a home. His price, not my price, is $2500. If you all know anyone that might be into it let me know, either here, my Instagram, or through the Facebook marketplace. If you don't, well thank you anyways.

For some reason the media link for the Facebook Marketplace ad isn't working, but I suppose you can search for it if interested. It is listed in Ball Ground, GA."

It's on Facebook Marketplace

I can image the sound made when sitting on those seats....like sitting on a bag of ruffles....

It could be a lot worse...but still. Who knows what the underside looks like. I wouldn't hold out hope.

That and the rustle of little critter feet.

HEARTRENDING!!! One would THINK somebody could have at least put a TARP over the passenger compartment. Might have some parts worth snagging.....

There was one until recently and it failed. Sucks because it really is a nice car that could be restored by the right person. I'm just not that person.

Floor pans are bad, the rest of the underside is good. Unfortunately I don't think I'll find a buyer for him, not sure what he's going to be able to do if I don't.

Sad, but I suppose it's not really my problem. I just hate to see cool cars go to waste.
