Hi guys,
I am chasing front rotors for my Budd disc brakes on my 68 New Yorker, i know they are hard to find.
I found them in an old search and that Summit Racing had them listed, it was mentioned on this forum some time ago.
This is there part #
TSB-23077AA1A
Are the ones listed at Summit correct, will they fit and work ??????
Any information appreciated.

NO -- NO Chineseum selling outfit can have the correct ones...
I have had them all through the years....
We are only allowed 15 P.M.s, and I know I am full....
I will try and free up some space later today.....
They are EXTREMELY heavy --- the Rotors are Pricey and the Shipping is going to be brutal.....
Yours, Craig....

Those are B-body.

$200 a pop.
1966-1969 Chrysler Imperial (C-body) Brake Rotor New for Budd 4 Piston Calipers | eBay

Keep in mind that Imperials that used Budd Discs used a different sized bolt pattern than C bodies with Budd Discs.
The eBay listing above is not clear on that, and you could make a very expensive mistake.
Craig (@mobileparts above) will know the difference and have the CORRECT parts.

Shouldn't, the rotor to Hub should all be 5x4.5. The hub itself should be 5x5 on the imperial.

The Imperial Club had one of the manufacturers do a run of these. Don't know if any are left.

EDIT DuraBrake is the company .

The rotor will fit either hub if you find one

One of their members came up with a way to use Toyota Supra rotors on the factory hubs after some machine work to compensate for the different hat heights.

He blathers a bit but all the pertinent info is there.

Mike Pittinaro's Supra Rotor Conversion for (Chrysler) Imperial Budd Brakes

I tried to find the rotors recently as well with little luck.
Twostick is correct, DuraBrake does have the rotor available but you have to re-use your hub.

You can find nos rotors but you better be ready to lighten your wallet a bunch. My experience for a new nos budd rotor ranged from $300-$450 a piece range.

I called Raybestos and Wagner and a couple of other smaller companies and everyone I contacted the part number for the rotors was a discontinued part.

I believe AMS Obsolete Mopar parts have some and Mopar Mall. I included the link for Mopar mall. Link:NOS and reproduction parts for 1933-1976 Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler, Dodge Truck s

Just be sure you are sitting down!

How much is the DuraBrake hat? That's the EZ Button solution.

The Supra rotor option is the cheapest going forward depending on whether you are or have access to a competent machinist.

I believe they are between $175-$200 for the disc only, I did not check the bolt pattern though.

i've got used ones i'll sell .
Hi,
what are your used ones like, are they ok or need machining, will they take a machining and be in spec.
how much are you asking, i only need one really.
Any help greatly appreciated

Working on the AAJ brake conversion on our 67 LeBaron and I purchased a set of the dura brake rotors for our 67 Crown. Put them on the original hubs. The shop installed the races which came with the new bearings and now the rotor/hub don't mount "flush", it measures out to just about 1/2" shy - it needs to go "on" another 1/2 inch. Has anybody had this issue or - remember which race was pressed into their hubs? Thank you, Doug

Compare the old hub from your other Imperial to this one and see if the races are pressed in deeper. Could be as simple as your shop didn't bottom them out. Most of these shops haven't packed a wheel bearing in 20 years as most newer stuff either runs unitized hubs or sealed bearings.

That is the perfectly reasonable answer, I sure seem to be light on common sense lately! Thank You
