I picked this up from middle age woman, owned it for 26 years, just 40K miles, 300hp LT1 with auto. 1992 convertible

Nice!!! Went through my Corvette stage recently with a '95 LT1. It had 163K on it when I traded for my Passat. Loved the car! But getting in and out was getting to be quite painful. Plus, getting challenged to a street race by every little pissant punk kid was getting old. Congrats on the score, that's a damn nice car!

Thanks everyone. Over the years I've owned 4 other vettes plus couple Z28s, couple of TransAmWS6 with the 6 speed, I've actually gotten tired of shifting as I've gotten older.

Nice color combo and the condition looks great. C4s at the beginning of that generation in ‘84 had lots of rattles. They got much better by the end. My brother had 2 new, 1 an ‘86 and the 2nd was a ‘95, they were coupes/manuals. He let me borrow them occasionally and they were both fun to drive. Congrats and enjoy it!

Congrats! I always liked the "flip front" Corvettes. Many neat features in the instrument panel gage displays, too. Nice performance cars that also got mpg on trips, on the unmolested ones.

There was a TSB on "rattles" on the initial '84 cars. About 20 pages of "locate wiring harness A, move 1/4" to the ______, secure in that position" It was amusing to read, back then!

Enjoy!

Nice car! I'm thinking of one of those (86-96 convertible). - if you could share an details on what to look out for as well as rough pricing its appreciated. PM be if preferred

Of all the cars I've owned, I miss my '91. I've thought a couple times about buying another, but have decided against it.

Nice and congratulations on a beautiful car. I picked up a C5 with 19K miles on it a few years ago for a DD when my Neon ACR died. It's been a fun and great car love the top down cruising.

Loved my C6's but they were a total waste of humongous power with my kind of driving. The old Sledge Hammer for tacks thingie.

FWIW... the C6's were the last Corvettes in my opinion.
