Not 100% sure if this is the right place for this question but I’m doing a lot of under the dash work on my 69 fury 3 and I would like to replace the plastic housings for the turn signal indicators and idiot lights. they’re red and green plastic with “left”, “right”, “oil”, and “brake” written on them and they sit in a white plastic housing behind the speedometer (I’ll get some pictures tomorrow). I haven’t been able to find any for sale and had a thought to use the same plastic they use on stage lights since it’s colored, transparent and made to withstand heat. A buddy of mine said they can also be run through a laser printer so I could put the words I need onto them then just cut out squares and glue them in. Has anyone done this before or should I just stick with finding NOS stuff?

I have found that a light combination of ammonia, white vinegar and water does a nice job cleaning up and brightening up the plastic and white letters. Not familiar with the ‘69 Fury dash to know if it is similar or not, or how bad of shape yours is in.

mine are pretty bad, I’d like to replace them if possible

Yep. Look like there was a wrong size bulb that got too hot, or the light was stuck on.
