I'm looking at a couple others on FB! This doesn't look too bad.....maybe $1800.

Needs an in person inspection, but looks promising.

Thanks SteveL. for posting. I don’t have Facebook and would not have seen the ad otherwise. I had a friend message the seller for me yesterday and gave him my number. Seller called me back today and I am going to look at the car tomorrow afternoon. Apparently he inherited an estate and has about 40 cars that they need to get rid of. Car is about 2 hours south of me. Will keep you guys updated!

Awesome. Let us know if he has anything else good.

Don't forget to take a pic of the fender tag! That's always appreciated.

I've responded to a couple adds on FB....even trying to make an offer and get no responses. I corrected a guy that is selling a 1975 blue Imperial and he's passing it off as a 1974. I respectfully indicated some of the visual differences between the 74 & 75 and now he won't respond so I stopped trying to contact him!

Facebook is the worst. A company that has done great harm to society. But, since it has usurped Craigslist I maintain a facade account for access to Marketplace. Have to hunt where the game is. Lots of C bodies on there.

I never had problems on CL... My experience on FB is I think some of these folks that advertise are probably testing the market. CL now charges $5 for a week or month....whatever it is, so the seller should be motivated to sell! Anyway, there's a blue '75 Imperial on FB....it cosmetically looks good but it's got some internal issues! The owner states he's going to repair some of the problems which are several. Maybe someone here has better luck than me!

Well looked at the Imperial today and unfortunately it was a pretty big disappointment. The person with the Facebook ad posted it for his dad, the actual seller. Car looked good from 20 feet away but the drivers frame rail was so soft that you could put your hand through it. Seller claimed that it had sat for 2 years but it appeared to have been sitting for a lot longer than that. Upon negotiating he said his bottom dollar was $2000. I expressed my concern regarding the frame and told him I would be interested in it as a parts car for around $1000 and he seemed pretty insulted by that offer. I then proceeded to say that I would be interested in buying parts off it if he decided to part it out but by that time he wasn’t having any of it and basically just ignored me. The son had mentioned earlier that there was a another Imperial from the 60s they had out back that was pretty rough but after “insulting” the seller he wouldn’t even let me see it. Wasn’t about to go over and snap a pic of the fender tag of the 74 after that so sorry no fender tag. The son said the didn’t have any other Chrysler’s or full size cars either
