Up for sale is a very RARE and hard to find 1973 Dodge Monaco. I purchased it from an older gentleman who had it garage kept its whole life! He would not even leave his house if he thought it was going to rain.
This thing is AWESOME! Please see the photos. The front end of this car is so unique! The lines, style, and size of this vehicle measuring almost 20 feet long... is just out right impressive!
You will not find another one like this online, Anywhere!!!
This car is in great shape, here are some of its features...

- Starts and runs strong with the optional factory upgraded 400 motor. No mechanical issues really to worry about. (The 400 motor was an optional upgrade from the standard 360 motor)

- Nice tight Steering and Braking with a ride that is so smooth you never felt anything like it.

- Olive Green Paint is smooth shiny and in great condition. Looks to be all original from the factory except for some work done on the right rear quarter panel, but the paint is matching perfect.

- Dark olive green hard top, again original in perfect shape, with no cracks or leaks.

- The frame looks great! Very miner surface rust but no major rusting or rot anywhere, you can tell it was garage kept.

- The Dark Olive Interior it is in Beautiful shape. Seats look like they did when they came from the factory. No cracks or fading on the dash anywhere.

- It has air conditioning but needs charging. (Currently working on it to have fixed price of may increase when fixed)
- This comes with the highway headlights that work but the covers that open sticking sometimes. (Currently working on it to have fixed price of may increase when fixed)

- Title is clean, in hand, and titled as an Antique so no need for ever paying those registration, inspection, or emission fees again!

I could go on and on about the Pros. of this car but to save you a lot of reading... Here is a list of its flaws for full disclosure.
-Air condition not working(Currently working on it to have fixed price of may increase when fixed)
-Highway headlights need adjusting(Currently working on it to have fixed price of may increase when fixed)
-Temp Gage not working properly
And that is pretty much it! New cars today have more issues then this one.

It will be hard to find another one like this one ever, in this nice of condition, for this low of a price. $11,200 OBO

Thats a 4 door some new owner will enjoy.
Always liked that design. GLWS.

Very very nice-looping car. Saw your CL ad last night, a couple of hours after you first advertised DP43M3F215299 on CL Philadelphia at $11.2k. I see that you’ve since adjusted the CL price down to $10,995.

For interested folks, there are 13 more photos on CL. This said, what would be helpful is the following info:

1. It’d be great if you could post photos of the trunk under the mat, the stub, the extension rails, etc.
2. Could you also post a photo of the fender tag? In the same vein, do you have a build sheet, window sticker, i.e., what paperwork comes with the car?
3. Your ad mention that this Monaco “has air conditioning but needs charging.” I don’t see the heater control valve in the photo below, however—am I missing something? (Edit: yes, I was missing something -- thanks to @71Polara383 for pointing out that the HCV is not vacuum-operated in 1973)

4. Your ad states that the car has “highway headlights that work but the covers that open sticking sometimes.” Do you have photos with the headlights open and working? Or, even better, would you be able to upload a YouTube video showing the car in action? I think that would be really helpful to a buyer.
5. If you could tell us about how much driving the previous owner did, and what you’ve done to/with the car since you bought it, that’d be very useful info too.

As others have said, great looking triple-pickle, look forward to hearing/seeing more.

73 heater control valve. Not vacuum controlled.

DP43M3F215299 is also now on eBay. BIN is $12,995 OBO.

Since it's now on ebay, can we knock it yet?

The owner posted here first, so we are limited to constructive comments and questions. To be clear, I really like this car. Surprised that the OP has not answered the questions or added the info requested.

Because he’s a salesman and only joined here for the free exposure. Didn’t even answer the question where it’s located. He posted the ad at 7:03 and was last seen at 7:04.

I say fire away.

"Vintage 400 Door Sedan" "Antique Hard Top NICE!"

Body Type: Sedan

Doesn't know the difference between a hardtop and a sedan. :poke:

Good points. Hopefully he will.

perhaps so PMs may help if not already sent.

Sorry everyone to get back to you guys so late. Busy with work and haven't been on here. It is located in 19426 Collegeville PA. Sorry I do not know a lot about these cars, like I said I picked it up at a Farm auction in Lancaster. Thought it was an awesome car and went for it.

The front arm rests were cracked so I had them redone. They look great now. I can post photos of them and your requested other photos later. The car is now with the mechanic working on the air, headlights, and just going over the rest of it, plugs, wires ext. So when I get the car back I should be able to answer some questions better and have more photos for everyone.
Not a salesman just liked the car so I went for it but really don't need it and thought I can make a few bucks... or I could just stay at home, do nothing and let the government pay for everything for me like what is happening now
But for real hope that helps a little.

A picture of the fender tag (metal plate with stamped codes) would be appreciated.

The asking price for DP43M3F215299 is down to $9.5k on CL. A few additional photos have been uploaded, showing for example that the passenger armrest has been repaired. More importantly, the A/C is said to have been repaired and to work.

If I were on the market for a 1973 senior Dodge, this one would be high on my list. FWIW, the seller only accepts "cash or Bitcoin."
