Hiya guys,

Planning to drop a fresh overhauled 440/727 trans in my 360/904 Fury. Already solved alot of issues but there are 2 things that I need more info on:

I read alot about the Schumacher mounts to do the swap, but surfing the web I stumbled on these from 440Source:

Engine mount - New
Used on B bodies from 1966-72, C bodies from 1966-73 and E bodies from 1970-74 Use 2 per car.
In Stock

and

Engine Support Brackets 66-72B 66-73C 70-74E
Shown above are our most popular brackets, Chrysler # 2536132, for the right side, and 2863751 for the left. Notice the left hand bracket will have a tube welded across the channel area of the mount (shown above on the right) making it easy to distinguish from the right side bracket. These were used on B bodies from 1966-72, C bodies from 1966-73 and E bodies from 1970-74. The right hand bracket (2536132) was also used on the passenger side of big block A bodies from 1967-69 with our 101-1063 insulator. Great replacement brackets for missing or damaged originals on factory big block cars, or for transplanting a big block into a small block car (except A-body) of the above years and body styles. No k member changes are required. Use with our 101-1063 insulators. These are sold as a set including one right hand bracket and one left hand bracket.
In Stock

I sended out an email to 440source for these items and they told me that I need these 2 for my swap as they are the original brackets for a 1972 C-Body Bigblock car. If so, why is everyone going for the Schumachers then?

Need some advice to make the right choices here

360 & 440 engines use the same engine mounts. I like the Schumacher poly-lock mounts. You don't want basic made in China mounts, especially on the driver's side.

Thanx FuryGT,

Are you saying that I do not need new engine mounts? So if I swap the engine mounts from the 360 onto the 440, it bolts right in?

Also, looking into oil pan compatibility. On the 440, I have a 933 oilpan. Does this oilpan goes into the Fury without any mods? See pictures.

Usually C Body Big Blocks used the #187 pan which has a recessed area to clear the steering linkage and it has a rear drain plug. Don't think your pan is going to work.

Yes on the motor mounts so long as your not trying to use the '73 & newer spool type mounts in a pre-1973 car. The mounts on the frame are the same for both big and small block C Bodies from 65 - 73.

Here's the part Bill is talking about. As long as you have the big block motor mount brackets, the motor mounts themselves are the the same. Schumacher Creative Services. The problem is that they are out of stock while Schumacher transitions to a new location.

I bought a set of mity mounts on my 68 sport fury 440. They work great and were easy to install. I purchased them from 440 source for around $160.00. I went through 3 sets of Chinese mounts before I got these so far so good. They have beem out of the Shumacher mounts for quite some time.
