1966 Polara Door Handles

Hi everyone, just wanted to share a little project I completed this morning. After reading several threads on the internet, I bought a set of 1985 Dodge truck door handles to replace the pitted ones on my ‘66 Polara convertible. They fit great and the conversion of the button linkage/spring was literally one screw. I’m sure they’re not the high dollar NOS quality, but they look great and we’re a fraction of the price. I saw a set on eBay for about $50 for the pair. The box says “made in the USA” so hopefully that will mean they’ll last longer.

Sounds like Chrysler getting their money worth from a design part. Good to know info about interchangability.
