Where is everyone getting or downloading manuals for their c bodies? I'd love to have references here and there!

Many paper copies are on E-bay.

As to that, the downloaded manuals are great and convenient, but the illustrations of complicated stuff (like carbs) were NOT rendered very well in the translation. So, I use the download about 90 percent of the time, but I bought a nice "patina'd" paper copy that I refer to for illustration details if needed. Did I mention carbs?

Paper manuals off eBay would be my choice. A real one too. The repops just don't have the character of a good 50 year old manual.

I have downloaded digital copies of parts books from ‘65-‘73 or ‘74. Very good reference to see if I can use parts from different years. I also have the thick loose leaf ‘68 parts book in the garage. Beside a loose leaf service manual that I printed from a digital file.(Lets just say I got a raise paid in paper and ink) I also have an original ‘68 Dodge Polara, Monaco manual on my desk in the house when I am researching something. Well used resources.

Don't forget about swap meets, too! Some might give you a better price for Chrysler manuals than similar Ford or GM manuals?

Enjoy!

I like paper, but I also like having a digital copy.

I'll take the digital copy and print out pages I need, especially wiring diagrams. Then I can highlight or mark up what ever I want and have a copy I can get dirty.

Wow, did they have the Street Demon carb in 1970? :poke:
