I am getting ready to sell a front and rear NOS chrome bumper, I need to know what i should be asking for these?

Thanks for any input
Jason

If you post them up for sale you need to have a price on them, will you ship and Your location. Etc. If you're looking for opinions or a bidding situation, throw them on ebay.

If i put these in the wrong area, let me know. i will have pictures, just did not want to ask too high of a price. Yes i will ship or meet someone within a 180 miles.

Also depends a lot on condition. Some NOS parts are real nice, and others are beat up from being banged around in storage for decades. Many NOS body parts were rejects, deemed not fit to be installed on a new car, but ok to sell later as replacement parts destined to go on a car that's been in an accident.

Ok thanks ill post pics tomorrow. When i bought the car 3 years ago they came with it. i dont need them.

It would be best if you could come up with a price on your own. I can't help, since I may be interested in them and that biases my opinion. And to be honest, I'm not sure what they are worth. I'd have a better idea if they were for a 1970's car.

If you price them too high, they just won't sell, or people may make counter offers, so no big deal.

Are you sure they are NOS and not rechromed? That would be good information to know.

If you have access to Hemmings or other good sources or perhaps plating services, you should be able to glean enough info to get an idea on value. Other folks on the forum are great sources of information. Ask on the General Discussion section perhaps for thoughts.
I'm not sure what the NOS adds to value for your bumpers. Good luck!!

I bought a NOS front bumper for my 67 Polara from a member here who has a small stash of them. It had some scuffs and scratch's but looks good on my car.
I paid $135.00 plus shipping for it.
Hope this helps.

Thank you that helps alot. The previous owner told me i could get $800 to $1000 a piece which sounded outrageous to me. i will post pics this evening. Thanks for help i have no clue the value so that will help me price.

Ok all, iwent to pick up the NOS bumpers ……..and they are not NOS. He still claims they are, but they are not. The rear one is a nice bumper and never been on the road......but no where close to NOS. THe front is worse. so sorry guys. he has a barn full of mopar NOS parts so I took his word for it. I jumped the gun by my post. I didn't even post a pic of the front. So if anyone has bent or dented bumpers and wants non bent ones, maybe these are for you. also struggling to load all photos. once again so sorry! $50 for the pair and I will try to keep loading photos

HI Jeff im located in smithville ohio, about an hour south of cleveland, iwould be willing to meet somewhere also

If you can hold them for a while, I'll buy them and figure out how to get them later on.

I'd be happy to give you $100 for the pair, the extra $50 for storage until I work out a plan.

Shipping costs have gone way up lately, so that really wouldn't be an option now, unless they could go by Fastenall Freight, but we'll leave that as a last resort.

Jeff

Sounds good, let me know I’d be willing to drive 2 hours your direction.
