I'm doing a 1977 400, 516 heads. I'm doing a 60s hot rod with a 3x2 intake so I want to do a golden commando look alike

That head was used on 64-67 Mopar big blocks, but they are the 6 bolt VC configuration, so a lot of different years of VC would fit. The actual "Golden Commando" engines used the earlier style covers that won't fit your application, but you can always paint which ever one's you choose with the gold paint which is available thru Bill Hirsch enterprises. www.hirschauto.com. Have you checked the 3x2 carb setup for hood clearance? That might be a problem on some applications, depending on the carbs, manifold and air cleaner choice.

I probably have some, but most are dinged, I also have a set of Edelbrock alloy covers here someplace that are NOS, if that would work for you.
