HELP
64 300 K 413 w/rams & torqueflite
So the car has tilt Yes. Have the column loose & gear box is unattached hanging.
It's stuck on the factory cast headers.
My question is.... BEST Process to Remove?
-Take 1 intake off & pull up thru the top (as
the top of the box is bigger than the
bottom)
-Unbolt motor mount & jack up engine
-Attempt to remove factory cast header
(which the studs aren't only gonna fight
me but also the box now)
THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Nice looking 300.
Do you have a factory service manual?
It would provide detail removal. My thought is you need to pull the intake off for sure. It should clear the exhaust manifold. Soak all the bolts on the heat stove plenum and might as well do the exhaust manifold bolt as well, just in case.
Get the manual regardless, you'll need it....

Thanks, that was taking directly after painting the fake white walls on the Mickey Thompsons. Had the 10.5" wide wheels made for it.
Stove pipes were removed decades ago as the rams get plenty of heat being parked on top of the cast headers.
But no service manual. Didn't really feel like removing intake unless I had to as I detailed it all as well as install new carbs.

If you take the pitman arm off and the inner panel top it forward and tip it up side down it comes out the hole in the inner fender

THANKS!
Didn't want to have to remove intake Unless I had to. As I just painted & detailed the top end when installing the 450cfm QF Holley based carbs... World of difference in power, throttle response, & driveability
Check out this link. Chrysler 300 resources. Has parts manual, service manual and the 64 K Supplement. jholst.net Chrysler 300 Resources Page

There are two on Ebay right now. Search Mopar 1822668. Also this is a great video to replace the horn ground strap (the copper strap) using shim stock.
