Don't think I've ever seen the wide whitewall and poverty hubcaps together before. Not my style.

I found a 66 Newport I want. It’s 2 tone. Is that a factory paint style for 66?
The only factory two tone I know of is roof and body different colors.

The Newport for sale is pretty hard to look at.

The wheels can be fixed. They drop the price $5k for repaint it would be a decent convertible.

WHAT.... is an "old school hooptie...."? it does NOT sound like a nice thing to say about a Newport Convertible......

Otherwise, what makes it hard to look at could conceivably........ be easily reversed, depends on if/how much bondo (or other problems) lurk underneath. Maybe the current well intentioned owner is just a little misguided in the color department. Wheel wells have either been repainted black or this was originally a black car, not that I'd want a double-black drop top. NO fan of the color it has been painted, but at least the air cleaner is correct. I have seen far worse sins on non-originality.

Well, hope it finds a good home that will bring it into a more tasteful situation.

Haven't seen it this year, but last year several times over the summer, I saw a '68 Newport droptop in light yellow w/black int. Matching color wheels with the same "poverty" hubcaps, sans whitewalls. It made a nice look on a Newport. Would be nice to see the same treatment on this one.

I don't kow on the cream color on the sides, but I bet that green is Rustoleum Hunter Green.
