Not even a quality. We were changing the instrument light dimmer to my daughter's 1971 Monaco and decided to go all the way and give some Oxide cleaner and protection to all sockets and contacts. Here's what is left for some bulbs. It seems like an OEM stuff.

Hey - 49 years is a lot to ask out of such a small part!

I did some instrument panel work this summer. There was a mix of incandescent bulbs in the cluster, some newer, some likely OEM, but none worked anymore. I decided to swap them out with LED bulbs instead a replacing them with filaments again. Yes, they are made in China.... and maybe not as good as an American made equivalent, but at a 25,000 hour life expectancy, I would likely not see one blow even if they only lasted half that long.

i went led because these are parts that will never be seen so OEM was not that important. They also have an extremely low electrical draw compared to a filament bulb which will only help my aging system. And there is practically no heat output which benefits the bulb housing lenses in the dash. I am really happy with the outcome. In the 25 years I have had this car I don’t think I have ever seen the dash this bright.

Got a link, pics info on these led dash bulbs??

Got the bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com. They have a good search tool for your car make and model then broken down by bulb location.

Here’s some pics:
Cluster illumination, high beam indicator, brake system. These are dimmable.

Instrument warning and turn signals (these go in the circuit board). These are polarity specific so some testing needs to be done to make sure they are installed correctly.

I also got some for the map light, convenience tray but haven’t gotten to those yet. They are also bayonet style base, but with more light diodes on them.

I've seen that website. Sorry to be naive but what do you mean by testing? Making sure they work and if they don't then rotate the bulb? Thank you.

Any other modes needed? Or plug and play?

Couldn’t resist!
These are the green Superbrightleds I installed last month. These are at the brightest dimmer setting and easily visible in daylight.

plug and play far as I can tell (with the exception of figuring out the polarity of the bulbs that go into the circuit board). I did a bit of research on the hyper flashing that can occur on the turn signals, but it appears that is on the body, not the dash.

so far so good!

To cure the quick flashing you’ll have to change the “Flasher” relay on the under dash fuse box to one for LED lights..

Just wasn’t sure about gage cluster mods needed. Yours Looks nice a bright though..

Did have to reverse polarity of the console shifter bulb socket. The rest of the dash was just plug and play.
