Ram TRX

HowTF can you drive these things and not call it distracted driving???

A zillion years ago I thought putting volume control on the steering wheel was the ultimate. Now this whole thing has become absurd.

I don't mind it. It looks a hell of a lot better than the new Chevy front end.

But this is what I'd get hung up on.

"All TRXs have a crew-cab, short-bed configuration, and with a base price of $71,690—that’s $13,555 more than a crew-cab Raptor—it had better be impressive. Loaded TRXs will be pushing $90,000." :wideyed:

Try $123000 Canadian....:poke: but in comparison a fully loaded Limited 3500 Dually Crew 4x4 HO Cummins is $110000 so meh not as bad as I figured

Look to the upper right and left of the screen, hvac controls. Charger, challenger, 300 etc still have physical switches

I respectfully disagree, having both a Challenger and Durango. You can adjust temperature and fan speed without going into the touch screen, but you can't select the mode (defrost, heat, vent, etc.). Oh for the days of three simple knobs - fan speed, temp, mode - to do it all without needing to glance at the display.

The 2012 Charger only had temp buttons and fan knob. Just look away from the road to switch to defrost, no distraction at all.

I guess if all you want is defrost, then it works. If you want the floor vents, or any split upper/lower, then you need to enter the climate menu, not just a simple push of a button or twist of a knob. If they can do it for the base entry level truck, then they have the technology.

Give one to Robby Gordon, if he can't break it, flip it, end'o it, or barrel roll it, it's a good truck!

"... According to the publication's sources, the Blue Oval automaker is planning to stuff the Shelby GT500's 5.2-liter supercharged V8 into the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor. It's no coincidence, then, that a prototype 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor was recently caught on video with a new engine that sounded like the unmistakable rumble of a V8.

In the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, this unit produces 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque, but will allegedly be detuned to around 725 hp - 750 hp.
That would make the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor even more powerful than the Ram 1500 TRX."

Yes but you can actually use a 3500 Cummins for something and it will go pretty well anywhere the trx can go, just not quite as fast.

So 13k gets you a hellcat 6.2 V8 vs a Ford eco-boom V6
