I have seen him advertise on FB in Wisconsin for $9500 if I remember correctly for about a year. I liked it but 12 cars are enough without finding a building or land to put one up.

This car originally sold for around 4500 last year to a flipper. I thought abt it at that time but it has hail damage.

The plot thickens!!!

Always liked Ambassadors...those vertical radios were weird.

Note the AMC Volcano caps on Mirada wheels and Mopar dual snorkel.

Always liked AMC. I had a 70 Javelin back in the 80’s. My buddy abandoned it when he left for college. His mom pretty much gave it to me. Fun fast but what a parts jumbled mess. God help you if you ever have to work on one Lol!!! I’d rebel machine that thing! Those big AMCs look pretty cool.

Am I seeing things, what's going on with the roof?

Just a seam. This was a vinyl top car.

One of the biggest things to happen to a lot of older AMCs is they sat in junkyards with not much being picked off them. In the 80's there were many in PA yards that ended up being crushed even though they were mostly complete. For instance, they made 111 Ambassadors with a 4 speed in 1968, and there is not one good one know to have survived. I have only ever seen 3. Two of them are long gone and the third is so bad underneath it is only a drive train donor now at best. Chryslers, otoh, were kept well and have survived quite nicely from the 60's. And I have only ever seen one 1967 Ambassador DPL with a 3 speed manual. 96% were AT and 4% were either 3 or 4 speed but almost all 3 speed cars were the lower trim levels.

Thanks for posting. This car is news to me. I've always liked AMC styling from that era and in particular had a soft spot for Javelins.

Just in case you missed out on this AMC the last time, it has been relisted.......again. With a buy it now price for $9,999 or bo.
