Not mine -- by now, it should be clear that FQ5 is one of my favorite C-body colors and that I would never redo a car so painted at birth into another livery.

PL23G1D323365 just went up for sale on CL in Independence, Missouri. From the ad: "All but one owner (original paperwork to go with). Original 73,000 miles. Engine recently thoroughly tuned up. New vinyl top. New Interior. Runs and drives great. Asking $10,000 OBO."

Poor car: had she been left with her original color and L2XA charcoal vinyl bench seats, she would have been mighty tempting even with her lowly 318 -- kind of the Fury equivalent of @71Polara383's Minnesota.

I would have to agree the turquoise FQ5 would have been a much more attractive color for this car. The purple engine is a real turn off. This car is a classic example of someone spending a lot of money to build their dream machine. Problem is that it will probably not have a lot of appeal to anyone else. Seller is probably dreaming at his asking price as nice original PL F2 cars with a 318 rarely sell for even $7.5K. Too bad, this car looks to have been straight and solid before it was messed with.

Totally changed an all original likely beautiful car. Being a small block low option car it was likely the right car to mess with if you were gonna. This however is another case of let me alter this highly original car then try to recover my investment.
Its now worth about a grand.

It's not far from being a seller. The condition is there. It's car lot pricing. Was somebody's Wife's car. May be again. Or maybe a wooden shoe.

Y57 "Incentive Qualifying Shipments" never heard of that one

I didn't mind the dark purple at first glance, but then I saw the picture with the bumble bee stripe... Purple valve covers and with the upholstery I'm out...

Not to pile on here, but to me the worst is the interior.Ugh!

And...it’s being flipped ambitiously. IIRC, it sat on Craigslist or FB for a loonnnggg time for like $7K a year or two ago. It is an unfortunate mess due completely to someone else’s “vision”.

A lot of $ for a 318 car!

I wonder if anything got covered up by the new VT?
If they hadn't done hte seat piping, a guy could've scuffed the purple and done an economical satin black to at least make the car usable.
But I think for most of us on FCBO the seat piping is a dealbreaker.
