I am looking for an axle housing in good shape to fit my 1970 Fury. As near Maine as possible.Brakes not needed ,but would consider a sure grip.I already have 3.21 gears. Thanks

So do you just want the axle housing? Or do you want a complete rear end ?

I could be wrong but I thought 1970 Fury's came with 8 3/4 rear ends .

Really depends on location and price.Just need the housing so I can refurbish it and get it ready to install next spring. However if I can get a complete axle with a sure grip I would consider it. Shipping is too expensive and I will not travel outside of New Hampshire.

FWIW, if some opportunity arises and you consider changing to an 8-3/4", you will need to change the driveshaft also, as length would be different because the distance between c-line of the ujoint to c-line of the axleshaft is different.

not going to consider changing to an 8 3/4"....just sold a complete one.
