had to travel back to UK twice this year for funerals, which were unexpected expenses, so my refurb budget was hit badly. Virtually rust free body and blank slate for someone to make their own.
Never been a big fan of Plymouths and Dodges, but I have loved that front end since I saw my first when my parents test-drove on in '72!
Didn't buy, and they looked at the Chryslers too. (I wanted the to buy an Imperial!!) Looked again in '73; I fell in LOVE with the '73 Chrysler grill!!!
Didn't buy....
A few weeks later, while my sister and I were in the house, there was a car's horn honking in the driveway. Our parents had bought a new car: '73 4-door Maverick.
Man, I was disappointed!!! However, my dad kept that car until '84 when he bought a used '83 T-Bird: he LOVED that new styling!!

If I can find a way to keep it I will. Just had a lot of unexpected expenses at the beginning of the year. Then Covid has had an impact on business income, so thought I would try and sell.
I am getting to the expensive stage of the refurbished with paint and interior and cannot see having the funds to do that until next year.

Keep the car, next year will be fine. You'll miss it if you sell. Unless it's make it break, I'd keep the car.
I understand and agree with you. For years I've known that if finances get bad for us, the car is gone.
I've known a few people who kept their cars while filing bankruptcy. One guy lost his house, but he still had his '70 Challenger!
Can't live in that....

If it's only a year, I'd keep. I bought my 1970 Fury vert 7 years ago. There's been years I've done huge amounts to it, and years I've done nothing. I bought the 440 for it 5 years ago. Life and bad luck intervened. I'm doing the 440 this year.

A little while back
Still working away at it. Will finish before end of year, hope sooner than that, but who knew it would end up being a 5-year plan?
Long term perspective may help.

By scouring the internet for used parts, tracking down every possible parts car, and Googling till your fingers go numb.
They're not in a Jegs catalog.
THE FIRST PERSON THAT TRIES TO SHOW THEY'RE PART OF THE COOL GANG BY AUTOMATICALLY SPEWING, CHECK WITH M..... Gets a dope slap.

The Switch cost me over $1000. I used 4 different vendors, none of whom had stockpiles. The headlight brackets can be altered to work, but all the grill parts, grill surrounds, mounting brackets, grill motor, motor relay, and motor arms are unique to the hidden HL grill. You could post a want ad and see who responds. Marty's Mopars may still have one of the surrounds. Best of luck, Ben

i think im gonna make my own custom hidden headlight covers. I seen a new challenger with some black plastic glass over the headlights concealing them
