Thank you everyone for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. I live about 9 hour drive away so driving there today to help my Brother with all the affairs.

Woke up from my night shift this afternoon and my phone was ablaze...with messages to call my brother (who NEVER messages me) and my wife and other missed calls. Turns out at some point between Tuesday afternoon when I was texting with my Mom when she was waiting around at the hospital for some test, and Thursday Morning she sat in her chair in her living room and most likely passed away while napping, heart attack, stroke or Aneurysm is my guess.

My brothers Girlfriend was contacted by a good friend of my Mothers, they would speak several times a day, with a question if she had heard from my mother in the last day or so? So she went by her apartment to check on her and found her in the chair, did not appear to have struggled at all.

Although this is a sudden loss I'm glad she didn't have to suffer and waste away like my Father did with his Terminal lung cancer. She had just had her 71'st Birthday Aug 15th...WIll Miss ya Mom!

Similar thing happened to a buddy of mine two weeks ago. He talked with his Mom Wednesday night on the phone, the next day she sat down for a nap... and never woke up. He's in Idaho this week; service is today.
