seen GT #2

OK, here is the FB ad. The ad say "all original" -- right...

@Beep Beep Dave -- can you please post the fender tag or the build sheet, since you seem to have it?

Edit: @Tobias74 just posted the tag for PH23T0D309963. Very late build (7/24/1970). EA9 indeed -- not just the body but the top as well. Who on earth would repaint an EA9 no-vinyl GT in white and add a black vinyl top?!

It is not an original centre console car I don’t see the C16 code on the fendertag,
Is a cool car but not for the price of $25000cad.
I would say maybe $10000cad if someone doesn’t care about original and just wants at as a driver. I’m sure there is a fair amount of bondo on this Fury.

I know there isn't much love here for Galen Govier, but he lists
EA9 1969 & 1970 Dark Gray Metallic.
H4XW High grade trim, vinyl split bench with center armrest, white and black.
EW1 is upper door frame, alpine white
This was a cool looking car with no vinyl top, in dark gray metallic with white interior.
Engine code E85 is not HP. This is a late 1970 car. 1st 2 promo cars 1971 GT also came E85, non-HP. Maybe we're seeing a trend that Chrysler decided to reverse later in 1971.

you couldnt get the 440HP in a 70 fury GT, you got either the standard T code 350hp or the optional 390 hp440 6 pack

I think the photos Tobias posted answers the question, not who but why..

you don´t need the fender tag to see that this car has had a repaint. And it just
needs this picture to realize it´s not a good one. Oversprayed gap tells the story.
I think inspecting this in person will scare many people off

As noted in the post on the other 70 GT for sale, basket case GT's have sold for 5 figures so the price might be a bit high but it looks like it's a good driver so if you are looking for a driver, with some negotiations this might be a good buy depending upon the results of an inspection of the paint and body work.

I'm a repair-and-preserve guy, not a restoration guy, so a car like this would work for me.
I actually like the black cloth and the tuxedo look it made, and like the Charger/Monaco console with armpad (hopefully they put the correct steering column in).
Gray exterior would be nice but I could live with the white.
All the underhood stuff could be perked up over a few weekends.
The dutchman seams are just a dremel cleanup and pencil-brush of white Rusto for me - I can live with those scars.

But these cracks, esp the one in the middle, would make me really nervous, even for a car that would only get wet when washed.
