hotrod finally did a c-body article

Yeah, I just got done reading this, was going to share the link but you beat me to it. On the one hand, they do recognize C-bodies as muscle cars, on the other hand it's an article about junkyard cars. It would be nice if they did a story about one already hopped up and beefed out. Oh well, maybe they'll do a story on mine once it's complete.

id like to see the vin tag of that 69 polara 500 that the article says is a 4 speed......

Steve M, whom I respect does not know his C Body's very well. Many mistakes like a 4-speed in 1969, the 71 GT has 370 HP not 375 HP and it appears to me that the 68 Fury 4-speed car is a Fury III as it looks like there were body side moldings on it whereas the Sport Fury has a stripe. Disappointing but now we know where some restorable cars are for those that do not mind major restorations.

It made me sad to look at that and see those cars in that condition.

Yeah, a few mistakes in there. An obvious one was no C-Body Dodge ever had stacked headlights. Plymouth yes, but not Dodge.

I have a couple of old Mopar Muscle magazines with C-Body articles/features in them. They sure didn't do that very often. If anything, maybe an article on HotRod may increase interest/respect for these cars, even just a little. Yeah, I know.

Yea he got it wrong in Season 2 with the 1974 Fury cop car, kept calling it a "Grand Sedan" and mis-informed everyone on the VIN plate that the letter "M" (or PM) is the code for cop car. At least he got the Pursuit vs Interceptor right.

I subscribed a few years back but cancelled due to ads on every other page, plus Biased to Chevy.
I always liked the Vintage old school Issues though.
