Mopars at the valley is coming up this Sunday, September 13th 2020. We are planning on going if the weather is good, and planning on taking one of the station wagons. Most likely the 67 wagon. Anybody else near there planning on going, @68_fury_ragtop?

Should be up there in the convertible. Been working on my friends B1 monster '69 Sport Satellite Wagon last 2 months so he can bring it out after sitting for a decade. Just got done converting it to a Jerico 4 speed.

As long as it isn't a total rain out i I am planning on bringing the Fury.

I had toyed with the idea if racing my Dart, but won't have time to tune it or get a new set of slicks before Sunday.
Besides when racing, I always miss a lot of the the show spending the day in the staging lanes.

Alrighty then C-barge, hope to see and meet you there tomorrow! I got a very strong feeling a shiny gold trophy is coming your way too.

Sooooo,, any pics of this show or was it a dud ...........................?

I didn't take many photos (probably due to the fact that I couldnt see my phone screen with my new transition lense glasses LOL) but there was a pretty good turnout all things considered. Lake George show was also this whole weekend that many people attend and down south at Island Dragway they were having their vintage racer show going on at the same time.

The drag challenger I believe was the fastest car there running a 9.03 @ 145mph. Bunch of new Demons there, all running low 11s, high 10s lol. The blue '69 fury ran a low 13s pass.

It was a nice ride up to the show. Usally the convertible only goes south to Carlisle so it was a refreshing change to cruise north. Hoping next year to attend the Lake George show friday & saturday (was supposed to be canceled this year due to the covid but everyone showed up and crusied the town anyways lol).

It was nice meeting up and chatting with fellow forum members :)
