I have a 1968 300 convertible that's missing it's tank and neck.
Rock auto list these three, which ones would work.
What other models would have the same neck.

The only difference in the tanks is the number of vent tubes. There is one tank with no vent tubes, one with two vent tubes and one with 4 vent tubes. Cars equipped with Federal Emissions have 2 vent tubes, cars equipped with 4 vent tubes were equipped with California emissions. I think, but I am not sure that the tank with no vent tubes was the model for Canada.

I believe vansauto.com has these also. Compare, I got a fuel tank sending unit for my '70 Fury there a couple weeks ago and happy with my purchase.

I have a stupid question that may be of use in regards to buying a tank. Do big block cars have bigger tanks than small block cars. My 65 and 68 both 383s held if I remember correctly 30 or so gallons. My 69 318’s tank hold about 20? I am completely wrong or is this a factor in purchasing a new tank.

Tanks were all the same size for the same model car, so engine displacement does not matter when ordering a tank.

Then wth does mine hold so much less???

You know what LoL!!! I just answered my own question. I got the car because it went in for a gas tank boil out. The thing completely dissolved in the dunk tank and when it was all done he’d lost $1200 for the repair and wanted to bail out. I’ll look under there I bet I got some crazy will fit thing. That’s bothered me since I bought dumbo 4 years ago. Wow thanks guys!

I got a tank for my ‘68 300 a couple of years ago. I am almost positive all the new ones are made by Spectra so I shopped around. I believe I ended up getting mine from Vans Auto. I got the two vent variety for my EFI.

Canada also had 2 vents.

For ‘68 all C-bodies were two vent. One vent tube goes up and vents by upper shock mount the other goes up into the trunk and then goes across and vents into the unibody frame. With shipping Vans was the best deal for me.
