Anyone have any detailed pic's of the remote booster system they had.
Was gonna attempt to use the factory booster off another 300K parts car we just got from Cali. But Murry was telling me he doesn't think it will fit.
ANY Help appreciated!

TIA

The booster on a non cross ram car will not fit, nor will it work. The cross ram cars have the booster mounted behind the driver side headlight assembly and it is a specific remote booster assembly. The remote booster is also a completely different design. It has a vacuum actuator built into the booster that activates the power assist with a change of brake line pressure, fluid from the master cylinder flows to the actuator valve causing it to activate the power assist. If you have the '64 Chrysler service manual, this booster is discussed in section 5-22, I have attached a copy of photo in the manual. Click on Mail, not the icon Down load service manual for free at www.mymopar.com. Manuals are in the tools/reference section.

Long rams will not clear that booster with the MC attached, that is why the booster was a remote mount application.

Here's the sole pic I have.
Came from a car listing I saved off ebay.
Most crossram car listings don't show this area of the car, I presume most folks don't realize it's a specific detail of the car.

If I were doing a crossram car and was lackign those parts, I think I'd consider converting it to manual brakes.

Is this just a 63 64 power booster resivoir? Can anybody tell me if 61 ply/dodge with power brakes have this resivor?
