Nicely optioned car, and seems to run well by the video.

One pet peeve, and while I don't want to knock this car, this applies to nearly every single car make and model that features hideaway headlights... WHY CAN'T THEY GET THEM LINED UP??? (sorry for the yelling, I've had a tough day) - that would simply drive me crazy, and I'd adjust those MFs until they were perfect.

Cougars, Furies, 300s, Camaros, Caprices - they look great in the promo pics and videos, but in real life, they look like shyte. Except for the very odd few.

Any thoughts on this?

Nice rare car. For me if I owned it ,I would be afraid to drive it. Does not compute.

Beautiful car, but they all look like they are at least a foot longer than other C bodies, all in the rear quarters.. Almost like Imperials in their length..

Lots of stuff like the stripes just are not right and the other details overall just aren't well done enough to warrant the price IMO.

What's the range on these? I'm ignorant on them. I see them bounce all over on values. What do you guys consider the right price for a correctly done highly restored car?

IMHO the following says it all "presents well with minor blemishes. The interior is almost survivor quality with minor blemishes". So if you have a #2 car why are you asking a #1 price? Still a very nice car.

But they aren't. :p

Your right.

This is also very sloppy for the class and price.

My thoughts are that I cleaned, repainted, reinstalled, and ADJUSTED (yelling!) until they were perfect. :D

The arrows were to show another member here how the yellow paint I used matched the middle stripe. School Bus Yellow.

I wonder about this, and I’m still a year away from having to do it, but once adjusted, do they stay adjusted?

Sure. Once you get the stops adjusted, cycle them a few times, adjust again, etc they should remain nice and lined up. Mine have. They work real smooth.

And if you have a bowling ball bag in the trunk, you could carry a few tools to adjust those doors as need be.

In general, the car for sale looks pretty decent. The dash pad discoloration seems to be "normal" with time/heat/age. The pictured door sticker (and the paint condition on the door surrounding it) also puts it into the "survivor" class to me, rather than "restored". The typing on that sticker looks more like a NOS sticker that had the build date month/year and the VIN typed onto it . . . as the font of that typing looks different than the "IBM-type" font I'm used to seeing on those stickers of that general model year era.

Wondering what else on the exhaust system has been altered other than those aftermarket chrome pipe ends?

Perhaps the price is somewhat related to the "unmolested" nature of things rather than "perfection"? But with some work and finesse . . . . in the realm of correct OEM Chrysler rather than "show car"?

Enjoy!

Here’s my Imperial. I am very picky on this point.

Ditto the headlight doors.
That was the very first fix on my GTO after purchase.
