What are you working on today??

side cover on an '01 cummins. had every intention of pulling the injector pump, but the sprocket wont pop. loaded it for all it was worth with a snap-on gear puller, nothing. snuck the cover out backwards between the body and the bell housing.

Maybe replace that sprocket with a Cogswell cog.

Home office underway. Finished framing the basement, wired and insulated over past couple weeks....while working my day job. Drywall this weekend. Then back to the Fury.

Over the past few weeks, the climate control on my 2001 F-250 2WD crew cab shortbed was haywire. It seemed to have a mind of its own.
Set to anything - it was stuck in defrost. Next day, a/c worked, but that was it. Next time - full heat at the vents.

I did some research online and apparently the heater box control module was suspect. I ordered a replacement and installed it this afternoon.

Back to normal operation.
The module was easy to change as it lives behind the glovebox door. Victory!

Hey Bjorn1230, it looks like you've got Harbor Freight jack stands. Double check and make sure they aren't part of the recall

Consumer Advisory: Warning to Harbor Freight Jack Stand Users

I had two sets and took them both back for a no-questions-asked full refund. Probably made a few bucks actually since I usually use a 20% coupon...

Built a "mass loaded transmission line" enclosure for a sub speaker and amp that I had lying around from a failed project from many moons ago. I'm very pleased with the final result.

I organized some parts and boxed and sent a bead hone to a member in NY. I did measure a flywheel for another member but it is a 10.5 for a slant 6. :BangHead::wtf::lol:

Still wiring the car up. Had to figure out a way to keep the switched 12V+ signal line live while cranking, so I wired a couple diodes between the “start” and “run” wires on the ignition switch to feed my relay.

Since my car is up on the lift and put away for the winter, I started a re-upholstery project.
My wife found a chair on Facebook for $20 that she couldn’t pass up. After we got it home she decided it looked too ‘70s and smelled like cigarette factory. So $50 in materials and about 10 hours I recovered it. The foam scallops were the most difficult. I guess it turned out ok.
Starting pictures. I guess I didn’t take a full shot.
