The paint and interior look really clean.
318 car with 53,800 original miles and Factory A/C.

1971 Plymouth Fury III - $5,500 - Rochester, New York

FB Description

1971 Plymouth Fury 3 Sedan. Resurrected after a 20-year long siesta. 53,800 original miles. The interior is original as well. 318ci V8, automatic transmission. Power brakes and power steering. A/C is there, but I have not tried to charge it. She runs and drives great. The body needs work to be perfect, but this turns many heads going down the road as it is. New fuel system, new brakes, new water pump, new tune-up, and petronix ignition (so no more points). New tires, idler arm, and shocks. I am sure I forget more that was fixed on this. This was undercoated early in its life, and it shows. The floors and trunk are nice and solid. I have been in the rain in it and no water got inside. It needs new window guide/track pieces for the left front and left rear windows. The plastic guides are worn out. I have been driving this car multiple days a week and it is a fabulous cruiser. I will continue to drive it until it snows. Not interested in trades unless you got a 55 to 57 Chevrolet or a 61/62 chevy.

With the rust on the rear quarters and the edge of the driver's door. this one is overpriced. Seller wants to go to the dark side Chevy, so PFFT.

Meh, maybe it is, maybe its not overpriced. A lot nicer that many Plymouth Furys still running out there.
The clowns at Barrett Jackson has every Joe who owns an old classic Chrysler/Mopar thinking its a Hemi' Cuda, and should command Hemi Cuda' $$$.

Nice looking car. Aside from lower door and lower quarter patches I always get nervous about what the vinyl roof is hiding. IMHO its a project car ~ 2K.

This one's already had paint touchup, likely due to old rust repair, and looks ready for it again.
Looks like a decent car to drive and preserve, but not really worth the body/paint work it would need to improve it.
Not a $5500 car IMO, maybe 3000-4000 to the right guy.
