TTI Exhaust hitting torsion rods

Guys, just replaced my dead 451 with a 440. Car has the full TTI exhaust from manifolds back, but now with the increased deck height of the 440, the pipes are up against the torsion rods. How have any of you dealt with this?
So @carrman what did you do?
I put a TTI "bolt-on" 2.5 inch exhaust on my 1970 Fury 440. Gave year, model, engine size, and both HP exhaust manifold numbers. They sent one left side over axle bracket that put the muffler/tailpipe too far forward so the pipe hit the shock. They sent another that didn't leave room between the trunk floor and bracket prongs, so rubber hangers would not mount. Had to use bolts for hangers and an additional bracket. Next time, I'm having a shop build the exhaust.

Had an inch thick spacer fabbed out of two exhaust flanges by welding them together. No leaks and worked slick.

Glad you fixed it. Hope that fixed your relationship with the car. My front pipes are a little low. I wish they were tighter against the body at the torsion bar cross member. Still, I don't think they are hitting the torsion bars. Relief!

Hoping that recurving the distributor and changing the shims in the rocker shafts totally fix my relationship with the car...
