At the Centerville Drag Strip this Black Beauty Shined, the recently purchased, out of Connecticut, 300F was described as darn near all original. No flexible radiator hose on this brute. The tachometer in the console was standard equipment, as I learned while talking to the proud new owner. He had a ‘60 New Yorker in his younger years and this car/model was second best for him. Hope y’all enjoy my wandering eye. Cheers, haywire 440

I see hose clamps on that radiator hose that sure don't look original. (with just a quick look).

More:

Plug wires?
Radiator cap?
Prestone flush "tee" in heater hose?

"Most" original? Really?

@saforwardlook, what say you?
That statement is just plain false. My 29K mile 300F is a reference car in one of the Chrysler 300 car clubs for a reason - it really is the most original.

And some of the issues have been noted above, and this black one has incorrect ram tube color and by now some of those rams would be flaking off paint, spark plug wires have been replaced with non-original ones, the antifreeze addition port added as mentioned, lack of corbin clamps on the hoses, incorrect radiator cap and more.

And mine has a/c that is also valuable to observe in terms of originality of components whereas this one does not.

But the dashpad looks original in the black one in terms of the foam collapsing underneath causing the appearance that is seen in the photo.

I also believe the steering wheel has been recast as the clear portion in the wheel shown should be a mild shade of yellow after all these years and mine has been under a cover in a climate controlled garage virtually all of its existence and has that yellowing plastic patina

Mine, however, should have gold air cleaners but the original owner had them chromed along with the power steering pump cap and oil breather and I noted those minimal alterations in the 300 club discussion. Everything else except for the battery in it at the time of the photo is original looking of course. Neither the spark plug wires or spark plugs have even needed changing yet.

Talk is cheap :p

That is one fantastic white cruiser, @saforwardlook ! It must be a pleasure and a treasure to have found one so original.
Talking with owners can be really interesting and colorful most of the time. I have a knack of attracting some creative folks too. The ones who swear to have owned the rare 440 Hemi and such.
I always like the analysis and discussions about cars and I’m grateful for such input.
I do remember now that the black 300 was missing some a/c components from the radiator area.
The was also a nice 1st generation Charger who’s owner said the interior of that, duo arm rests, were based on these earlier full size Chrysler’s.
