Can anyone help me identify this type of wheel and where I can find one? Thanks

I think that's an aluminum 15 slot "Road Wheel".I found this 15x6 pair on eBay. for $165 (plus shipping).you'll have to paint them black yourself though. I think they also came in a different size (correct me if I'm wrong) so make sure yours are also 15x6...

hopefully, there is a member who is willing to let go of some spare wheels for cheaper..but if not you might wanna check out the eBay ones.

The road wheels were steel, not aluminum and they were painted argent silver in many cases to look like an aluminum wheel. Some were also chrome plated. They are not available as a new replacement so E-Bay or a wrecking yard is your best bet. The road wheels also had a variety of center caps that are hard to find if you are trying to maintain a stock look.

W23 Class II 16-Slot Road Wheels. Or something like that.

Seems like the aluminum W23-style wheels were on the '79 Cordoba 300s, but in 15x5.5" configuration? The nornal steel W23s were all 15x6, with chrome/silver paint centers. A 15x7 version was on the Chrysler LeBaron coupes in '77 or so.

I believe the numbers near the valve stem would be production or vendor ID codes. Won't find most of them in any Chrysler parts book. Other than possibly the letter codes and the Pentastrar, I suspect.

I believe there were also some AMC versions, but were paint silver, with no chrome in the slot area.

Just some thoughts,

The wheel in the 1st post looks like a steel wheel to me.

I have aluminum wheels from a 79 300. 15 slots.

The center disc is shaped differently between the two. The steel version has the slots sitting proud, where the aluminum version has the slots sitting in a recess.

You can also tell be looking at the slots close up....the aluminum wheels are a lot thicker.

The silver-painted AMC wheels I have seen were 14". I do not know if they had a 15" version.

AMC did use the "Chrysler " Road wheel too painted without chrome.

Chrysler had 2 types of road wheel in 1970- one chrome the other painted- both 15x6.5 or 15x6. In the later 70's only a chromed wheel was offered until 1978 when they made a 15x7 version that was painted black and hidden under aluminum fins. From 79-81 all road wheels were 15x7 and offered on M Bodies. Discontinued in 82.

The 70 Rally Road wheel...no chrome.
Chrome styled Road wheel...chromed.

This rim could be either a painted chrome version or originally painted.

Thanks, Mr C for good info.
I was thinking of this wheel, which I now see isn't right for slot count either.
