Fall Fling Oct 24, 2020: 25th Anniversary

At Irwindale Dragstrip, Irwindale CA

We will not take mail-in registration due to time constraints. Pay online or at gate.

*Print your receipt and bring it to the event. They will scan your receipt for simple quick entry. Or you can show the receipt on your phone.

• $15 general admission (free parking)
  
• $40 show cars (includes driver)
  
• $40 20’x20’ swap spot(includes driver)
  
• $60 Test N Tune Drags(includes driver)

Scenarios:

• 1 show car with 3 adults… Pay for 1 show car ($40) and 2 persons ($15x2= $30) etc…
• 2 swap spaces with 5 adults... Pay for 2 20x20 ($80) swaps and 3 persons ($15x3=$45) etc…
• 4 persons (adults)… pay $15x4=$60

It was this or nothing.

... and there’s been too much “nothing” already this year.

Please bear with us. This is a late large change. So we are keeping it simple with just Test N Tune Drags. people in the show have the ability to pay an extra $20 for a “tech card” to race.

But at Irwindale EZ ups are ok.

The cars will be parked every other parking space. So plenty of room to hang out.

So bring some shade, some chairs and some cold ones!

Swap pre reg is beyond what we’ve got in past 4 years Fall Fling.

So swap predicts to be somewhere in between between Fall and Spring Fling.

We’ve got 51 drag entries. Track says for stand alone events total day-of is twice pre reg. So that’s 100 Mopar drag cars.... nice.

There going to be a special display of barn find cars:

This raises a question for me: Since it's at a drag strip, and there's going to be a race, is there going to be an entry fee?

Just looked at the flyer and saw what I had missed before: $15 per person. Don't like that! Event has been free since its inception, and I was at the first Fall Fling.

I understand this is something new, but this is an Irwindale requirement.

After several hours of negotiations we compromised at $15.

This one of many things required to make this event happen for everyone.

Just talked to food dept today as matter of fact...
